Fun-damental Golf Skills Group Classes

FALL 2019

Ages 5-9 and 10+

*Class size is limited 

Learning the fundamentals of golf (putting and chipping) and golf-specific fitness (fitness is very important to prevent injuries and help build the strength we need to swing golf clubs). Participate in fitness through fun age and skill specific activities.

  • In class series #1 participants will learn and practice: grip, posture, aim, alignment, set up positions, putting stroke, and swing size. Participants will also be learning agility, locomotion, balance, coordination, functional stability, speed, and object manipulation/control skills.

Ages 5-9 and 10+

Participants will be doing fun activities and games to build skills and muscles such as: 3D integration, mobility, locomotion, agility, coordination, functional strength, speed, stamina.

Group Classes

APRIL 11, 18, 25, and May 2 2018

Ages 7-14

**Class size is limited

Participate through fun skill specific games and activities. Each session we will cover specific topics, and build upon them to grow the participants advanced golf skills, golf knowledge and golf shot library for preparation for the Drive, Chip and Putt. It is not a requirement that participants in this class participate in the free Drive, Chip and Putt local qualifier in July 2018. However, this class series will better prepare participants if they choose to compete in the event. These sessions will consist of time for participant's to practice advanced skills, play games, and receive individualized and group instruction.
